Alt Heis Expands and Opens New Office in Ålesund

Alt Heis, part of the Motum Group and owned by Mitsubishi Electric Building Solutions, continues its growth in Norway by establishing a new office in Ålesund. The expansion strengthens the company's presence in Northwestern Norway and combines local market knowledge with the resources, expertise and capabilities of a leading Nordic elevator group. As part of the expansion, Jan Ove Skutvik will join Alt Heis, bringing extensive industry experience and in-depth knowledge of the local market.

The establishment in Ålesund also includes a partnership with the local elevator company Heispro, founded by Jan Ove Skutvik, who has 45 years of experience in the elevator industry.

With the new office, Alt Heis gains a local base for its continued development in Northwestern Norway. For customers, the expansion means local presence and responsive service, combined with the expertise and resources of Motum and Mitsubishi Electric. This provides greater capacity, a broader range of elevator solutions and access to specialist expertise whenever needed.

“With the new office in Ålesund, we are taking the next step in Alt Heis' development in Norway. Jan Ove has extensive experience in the elevator industry and knows the local market well. This provides a valuable foundation for our expansion,” says Tomas Knutsen, Managing Director of Alt Heis.

“For me, it is particularly exciting that we can now combine local experience and close customer relationships with the resources of Alt Heis and Motum, as well as Mitsubishi Electric's elevator technology. This opens up entirely new opportunities for us in Northwestern Norway,” says Jan Ove Skutvik.
